Mobility Hackathon 2026 – Digital Blackout
On February 13–14, 2026, 72 participants, mostly university students, gathered at TechTower Pilsen to tackle crisis scenarios related to digital blackouts. They formed 15 teams and spent 24 hours developing practical solutions for city service resilience, offline communication, traffic management, and crisis response without digital connectivity.
Key Outcomes
· 🥇 Disaster Alert and Response Information System – a multi-channel crisis management system using LoRaWAN and FM broadcasting.
· 🥈 Overwatch: Drone Capturing and Identification – a tool for drone identification and building a database of captured devices.
· 🥉 Offline Application for Dispatch and Public Transport Support – a coordination system for city transport operations during blackouts.
Other projects included offline digital passports, autonomous drone evacuation, and simulations of cyberattacks on city services. The hackathon demonstrated that combining technological innovation with crisis management produces practical solutions for emergency situations.
